We are nature ~ A nude artistic imagery circle

Event description ~ SOLD OUT ~

We are Nature - a nude artistic imagery circle -

So as you came, so you shall be held. In your skin, your everything. Held by nature, held by sisters, held by your creator. We are Nature -  a nude artistic imagery circle - Is a journey of creation and collaboration. A sacred, held space where Phoebe and Lauren will weave their magic together in one of their favourite Samford creek locations.

We gather with the intention to remember our infinite connection to nature. We gather to feel the empowerment that exists in our very core, in our skin, in being fully seen and held. We gather to share our own empowerment process in learning to become comfortable in our own skin. Powerful, beautiful, accepting and gentle.

We have not learned through mass media to be loving and gentle with the bodies we were born with. We have been taught to compare, judge, punish and sacrifice our natural beauty. We have built up walls, layers of shame, and we have often been hurt, and so we can feel we are not worthy of the beauty we possess.

Each of us holds something so precious: that is, our uniqueness, our beauty with no filter. Our bodies which gift us the ability to express ourselves in this physical existence. Our bodies which carry us and endure so much. Our bodies which heal and grow and change and develop.

We invite you to sit deeply with yourself and sisters, and experience yourself in these stories….can you feel this moving in you?

This group experience includes:

  • Meeting at 6am, creekside as we gather our intentions for the space.

  • With Lauren: Flowing through a sacred circle practice of mediation, tea sharing, breath work and song as we drop into the space of beauty in our own skin.

  • With Phoebe: Moving into group photo play, individual shots and nature/body art making photographs.

  • Sharing a light breakfast, closing circle at 9am.

  • Your private access to individual photographs and select group photographs following the event.

Phoebe will weave her magic of portrait photography and her deep love of nature into the space. Her gentle approach to holding women in their power will guide her to support, nurture and play in this space of circle and art making with our bare skin.

Lauren will guide and hold the sacred space through the practices she uses in her Sacred Circles. She holds groups gently and intuitively, through her voice, body and by facilitating deep listening.

Woven together we endeavour to create an experience that is wholly healing and beautiful. For you to walk away with deep connection to women and to nature. For you to be gifted photographs that capture your experience and your expression. These images can be treasured forever and be kept as a memento for your journey of remembrance, empowerment, acceptance and beauty.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This space will be facilitated in a secluded, remote setting.

  • Images will be shared with each participant privately following the event.

  • This space will be tech/phone free to allow each of us full presence in the space where each facilitator can hold and guide the experience.

  • By participating in this event, you give consent to having your photo taken by Phoebe, and thereby allow for any photos to be used as promotional images for future events, as well as website and social media use (censored versions to abide by social media guidelines).

We look forward to sharing this space with you.

In love and devotion to the remembrance of our beauty,

Phoebe & Lauren

Lauren’s Biography as Sacred Space holder:

I have attended women's circles since 2008 and since moving to Australia in 2019, have nourished a Samford Sister Circle monthly. Most recently in March 2022, I birthed my own channeled creation, Sacred Singing Circle, where so many elements of ritual, ceremony, harmony, reverence, song, freedom and expression commune to create a healing, revivifying, harmonising and uplifting experience for those who attend.

My ultimate dream is for one and all to access and feel the power, peace and beauty that is within and without us. To experience harmony, community and heart connection on a regular basis. To gather humans around us who wish the best for us, who love to see us thrive and follow our deepest desires, and are willing to hold us through our dark spaces.

In guiding and holding circle, I bring all the elements I have learned through life, mothering, being wife, partner, friend, student, client and daughter. Business owner, creator, designer and earth lover. And all I understand from my learning in teacher training, working with children and adults with Intellectual Disabilities, art therapy course work and my Rudolf Steiner Teaching diploma and study.

Learning and teaching is part of life. Reflection is a daily practice. Healing is always occurring. Remembrance of my original truth, pure love, ultimate peace and connection to my creator is a practice I revisit as often as I can, to comfort my process, my healing, my learning to be, accept and grow.

I look forward to sharing sound, song and circle with you my dear!

Phoebe’s biography as photographer, therapist and artist:

I am a photographic mixed media artist who practises in the field of fine art and portrait photography, which I then use my images as the basis of my mixed media artworks.

Through studying Visual Arts and Photography, I have developed my style over the last 15 years, providing me the ability to combine my love of collage & crafting with my photographs.

With an interest in storytelling, fine details, and shedding light on magical people & places, I am able to connect with my subjects personally through collaboration, bringing a shared vision to life in the form of still imagery. Fellow creatives and magic seekers are my favourite type of people to capture.

Nature is my biggest inspiration, often appearing as the main focus in my images, or use of natural materials to create my artworks.

It is my desire to aid in deepening our connection with nature, integrating it into everyday life through ceremony & celebration, not only as a form of inspiration to create, but in order to heal both ourselves, and the natural world we come from.
