We are Nature: Wintertide ~ a nude artistic imagery circle ~
Winter is like the new moon of the seasonal year, a time for rest, reflection & going inward; the months of the longest shadows and shortest days, a time for hibernation.
Let us gather to face our shadows, put our fears to rest, and embrace the comfort of the wintery cocoon.
With the support of your sisters by candle light, come to release what no longer serves you, and plant seeds of hope.
As we create our artistic imagery together indoors, we will envision ourselves as the intricate details of nature; we will take a closer look at how the veins in a leaf echo the veins under our skin, or the curve of a single flower stem emulates the curves of our feminine bodies. Together we will embody our unique expression of the stories we carry with us into the circle.
We invite you to be seen and held in your fullness, in your skin, your everything. So that you may release to re-connect. Be seen to feel your own empowerment. Be witnessed and held so as to treasure all that you are in this moment.

Let us gather with the intention to remember our infinite connection to nature, to feel the empowerment that exists in our very core. Let us share our empowerment process in learning to become comfortable in our own bodies. Powerful, beautiful, accepting and gentle.
In this circle, we will hold nature, instead of nature holding us, as we take foliage and flora indoors to explore and play with amongst a studio set up to create artistic imagery. Our studio will be in a cosy, private and serene environment in the Samford Valley area, surrounded by bushland. We will circle, play, sing and create imagery together by candlelight and soft studio lighting as the evening gathers around us.
This co-created space is so precious to us, and we wish to share it with you because, as women in this time, we have not learned through mass media to be loving and gentle with the bodies we were born with. We have been taught to compare, judge, punish and sacrifice our natural beauty. We have built up walls, layers of shame, and we have often been hurt, and so we can feel we are not worthy of the beauty we possess.
Each of us holds something so precious: that is, our uniqueness, our beauty with no filter. Our bodies which gift us the ability to express ourselves in this physical existence. Our bodies which carry us and endure so much. Our bodies which heal and grow and change and develop.
We invite you to sit deeply with yourself and sisters, and experience yourself in these stories….can you feel this moving in you?
